Mermaid of the Pearls

With iridescent fins and scales as stunning as any mortal evening gown, a rapturous sea nymph rises from the depths clasping a cache of saltwater pearls to beguile her land-bound lover. On a background of softest seafoam, with a wing-shaped fin worked in shades of fuschia, periwinkle and teal, she is a part of the mysterious, impetuous sea captured forever on canvas....Nora

She takes my breath away!!

Happy Stitching!

Oh my goodness! I am beyond excited to see these close-up photographs of your stunning work. I am new to cross stitching and will soon begin to work on the South Seas mermaid and am so happy to see what to expect when attaching the beads. Thank you so much for sharing! Hi, I am a newbie. How do you stitch the beads? Are the small ones stitched together with the floss or separate? Like on top of the stitched floss? The big ones appeared to be on top, is that right? I hope you'll reply. Thanks. Love your Mermaid. It's very beautiful.
